After many years, I was knocked out with neck and head pain for many days until I was hospitalised with viral meningitis. They started a round of IV antibiotics and just today the microbiologist said to stop it.
Has anyone had this virus while on immunosuppressresants?
I am scared to go home now incase I come back in worse. I cannot keep up my head without neck and head pain. Also the LFT was a bit high but not concerning my high.
They're speaking to my transplant team to see what to do. They have said it will have to be plenty of bed rest.
Thank you.

This sounds so draining, I am so sorry you are so unwell...
My husband has had CMV and Pancreatitis alongside other virals - your liver team will be able to support you - try and rest while you can - I know your home can be hectic and you are probably worrying more about kids than yourself now!
Hello Pear, I got back from hospital on Friday and on bed rest. However felt much better today although have spinal pain so can't move much. I honestly feel so weak from this. I feel wobbly to talk or move.
Hopefully another week but this has scared me. Once in a while I forget about my immune system but winter does scare me a lot.
I'm sorry your husband is going through a lot. I really hope he's getting good treatment. Life is just never the same. I am always stuck with elderly patients because of the demography of the town I live in. I think it may consist of more elderly patients but I feel they always have more life in them than I do. I'm there usually like a lemon just observing them and wondering if I'll even get to their age.
It's a tough like with a suppressed immune system and then chronic pain along with it.
