Evening,
Been feeling down the last couple of days and getting little or no sleep. My energy level seems to have plummeted. Just bloody had enough.

Keep your chin up Maxey, after all you've been through the last few weeks it's no wonder you've hit a low patch. Keep on keeping on ....... that real call can't be far away.
Katie
Hi Maxey. It's not surprising that you are having a down day or so after all the emotions that you've been through just lately. Keep your chin up and hang on in there. We're all rooting for you that the next call is ''THE ONE''. Best wishes. Alf.
Hi Maxey. I’m so sorry your feeling down but it’s not surprising after what you’ve been through recently. Keep believing that it will happen. Just remember they only want to give you the best liver they can. Second best is not good enough for you. Hang on in there, we are all rooting for you xx
Hi Maxey
At moments like this I should be sending you a few funny jokes to make you pee your pj's at this time of day , but for some damn reason I'm struggling with brain fog 👎👎 so I can only send you a few smiley silly faces 😊🤣🙄😜😝🥳🤠.
Hang on in there as I know you have it in you to come through this!
If youd been on my door step I would have popped around with a pack of cards and some of my delicious homemade chicken soup which is guaranteed to make you smile .
Here's another hug! Huggie
Love Trish xxx
Hi max I feel your frustration but hang in there. Once you’ve had your operation you’ll look back and wonder if you really were that poorly as I do. I’m thinking about you and hope your time will come sooner rather than later. You’ve actually reminded me though how tough it can be. especially not sleeping and in particular the lack of energy. I do look back in amazement how at one point I couldn’t even muster the energy to go to the kitchen yet alone go to bed we’re i struggled to get a nights sleep. It’s only a matter of time for you so wish you well and I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you. Paul
Thanks for the encouragement Paul. I'm longing to be where you are now.
You will max and you’ll look back in disbelief at how poorly you were when your back to feeling normal again. Stay strong it’s only a matter of time . As tough as it’s been lately we are all with you and rooting for you not just yourself but to everyone who’s got this dreadful disease. Just remember there is a light at the end and you’ll get there. Paul
Hi
No wonder you are feeling down after what you've been through. Keep your chin up, we are all here for you. Here's a hug🤗 sent right to you. Take care of yourself Lynne
Hiya Max, you’ve had a crap time of it, but you have stayed strong and resilient through it!! You wil have crap days and then you’ll talk to yourself, sort it out in your head (after a snooze and some biscuits!!) and be ready to fight the fight again. Your time is coming. Good luck, we’re all with you. Andy.
Hello Maxey
My husband was very down last week, and he’s only on the list a few weeks, so I can only imagine what you are going through. We had a good chat and he’s definitely in much better spirts. Try to stay positive and I genuinely hope your next call is the one 🤞
Take care
Geraldine 😊
Hi well u have had a rough time these last few weeks it's not surprising u feel like this. Keep ur chin up and I wish u all the best for the next call. Take care.
Awh Maxey, God love you, when you aren't sleeping the tiniest thing can seem like a tragedy to you, no practical advice from me other than to try to sleep when you can and if possible grab some naps when you can, stay strong we are all behind you n here for support n cyber hugs if ye need them xxx
You have been through such a lot recently so it's not surprising that you have temporarily run out of steam.
I don't think this time of the year helps either. When the weather is rubbish and the days are getting shorter, it makes even the most positive people feel a bit down x
Oh Max, I'm so sorry your having a sh1t time, and not sleeping, makes it much worse. There is a new, perfect liver out there with your name on it. I hope and pray it comes to you very soon. Try and stay positive, all the best,
David
Aww Max
I’ve not been a member of this forum very long but I recognise your name maxey666 and I’ve come to associate your posts with the spirit of how you’ve written them: insightful, knowledgable full of compassion and encouragement. All round good egg even tho’ your moniker would suggest “mark of the beast” 🤣 (joke).
So please accept my post in the spirit of how I intended it to be, even if I haven’t chosen the right words. “Feel the force-it’s strong in you”.
In my thoughts, 🥰
Thanks for the kind words. I don't know why I chose 666 it must have seemed like a good idea at the time or I have a little bit of devil in me.
Love your reply Braveheart ! X

I'm feeling more up beat now. Just had a really nice 3 mile walk with a mate which is always good for the soul.
Glad to hear it ! Fresh air and friendship goes a long way.
Take care,
Trust9
I agree! Fresh air and friends are a major plus!
Keep focused ! Love Trish x
Hi Maxey,
No fun feeling low and lack of sleep just gives those low feelings some extra kick.
Clearly, you have lots of people in your corner sending good wishes and as much sunshine as they can.
Wishing you the best and more energy in your near future.
Mary
Thanks Mary.
Í think it’s great that you can share your thoughts here. It was really helpful to me when hubby was waiting for the call. Keep your chin up, the phone will go and it will be your time x
Hi Maxey I understand how you might be feeling!
Give you a wee laugh ..when my husband got the call for his 1st transplant..he's had 3 bless him!
He got the call the day after he was listed😄anyway we weren't prepared for that!
The hospital said how soon can you get to Addenbrooks..I rushed him into the car without thinking about anything ..I was going just about 35 I'm a 30 zone and the police stopped me for speeding😄😄
I explained the situation thinking that he would show some compassion and pleaded to get going..he actually said you are going nowhere and continued to give me a 20min lecture about speeding plus a ticket!!!
I left him and went speeding up the motorway to catch some time..got to Cambridge and got caught by another camera!!!
What a day that was!
My husband went on to have his transplant and made a good recovery but I always remember the drama we went through that first transplant
Never did forgive that policeman who done that though!!
Hope your call comes soon and is less dramatic than that!!
Chin up you will get that call soon Maxey X
Hi baille
Glad to hear you husband is doing well post op. The police officer sounds like a bit of a w⚓
Hi Maxey, just wondered how you are feeling now? Jaycee
Hi Jaycee
I'm feeling more up beat now thanks but so bloody knackered and breathless much of the time. I must stop staring at my phone waiting for it to ring.
How are you getting on?
I am ok, but I found myself thinking of you all day. So I wanted to catch up. I totally get the breathlessness and fatigue. Try to hold on Maxey everyone is here with you. We all want the same thing. Stay strong of heart Maxey. Jaycee
