Linaclotide

Hi I’ve just started Linaclotide on Thursday and Im having bad upper abdominal pain. Has anyone else experienced the same thing when first starting them? Thank you 😊

How did you get on with the Linaclotide Lindybob? I've recently started taking it, initially alongside gabapentin and I got an ache and stabbing pains on my left hand side (stomach area) which continued after stopping both drugs. I assumed it was the gabapentin and resumed the Linaclotide. My main issue with it at the moment is it leaving me tied to the house since my current diet is very low fibre (due to intestinal pain I get at night), I am constipated and the drug keeps trying to push it out. I'm currently increasing my fibre intake and hoping that if I can evacuate in the morning, the drug will leave me alone for the rest of the day. What was your experience?

Hi sorry for the late reply I had to stop taking it I’ve gone back to Prucalopride 2mg and Docusate 2 tablets twice a day.
