I was out last night in Wolverhampton having an enjoyable meal with three other fellow liver transplantees. The subject got around to talking about a few forthcoming events that I thought I'd share on here.
The Donor Family Network are holding, "The Precious Gift Event" on Sunday 8th Sept at the National Memorial Arboretum, near Burton-on-Trent. Here organ donor families and donor recipients have a chance to meet up. I've been told that it can make for a rather emotional, but enlightening day.
