Hi everyone. Posted a couple of weeks ago in regards to liver pain. I've had 2 blood tests run with the second being very thorough and have been given the all clear. Myself and the gp are now going down the list of other possible causes one of which being a hernia. Before I leave I just wanted to thank everyone for your honesty and for sharing your stories...some of which are harrowing. I wanted to let you know that regardless of whether my pain is liver related or not, it has opened my eyes to the fact that this could have had a very different outcome due to my lifestyle. I am now almost a month sober and I feel so much better for it. Your honesty has ensured that the loss of those you have loved and that of your own health, to some degree, has not been in vain...Your stories have had a big affect on myself and I'm sure many others who will hopefully live healthy lives as a result of the vital information you have shared. Thank you again and all the best for this crazy rollercoaster called life x

Hi

Wishing you the very best of health on life's journey. Have a wonderful wedding day and life together. Take care Lynne

Lovely post Yoorks. Thankyou for that. Hope they soon find the answer and remedy for your pain and nothing serious.

Enjoy your alcohol free lifestyle, it will be far better without it, no one needs it!! Good health and happiness for the future.

All the best

Thank you for your encouraging message Yooks, dying for a drink just isn’t worth it.

Best wishes for the future,

Mark.

Very kind words Yooks82. I hope everything gets sorted out and that this forum has offered you support and clarity on matters that may have not even been thought of before. I wish you the best of luck and take care of yourself! 🙂

Good stuff Yooksey!

Hope everything is good from now on 👍. They often - well for me - don’t seem to worry too much about hernias!

You’ve done well to go a month “sober” - hope you can continue 😁👍.

Great post Yooks, and thank you. Well done on the 1 month dry, just keep it up and you can dodge the bullet that caught a lot of us on here. I hope you get the pain problem sorted, and all the best for the future,
