Moving house, well we might be. At the moment we are near Paris but will poss move nearer to my parents-in-law who are aged. There are lots of reasons why we should move but hubby, bless him, is worried about if I become ill, i have had a transplant. Nearest transplant centre is Paris (max 1hr30 without sirens or Rouen, about the same or less). I think that if I get ill it will take more than 2 hrs, or even 2 days before I need the hospital.
Obvs I ŵill check and get the best specialist I can.
Your thoughts are welcome.

How far is the closest hospital? I live 4and a half hours from my transplant centre and if I become ill liver wise my local hospital work with my consultants and all works well xx
Moving is stressful enough and you have the added stage of factoring in your health.
Like lots of others here, my journey to the Transplant Hospital is 2.5 hours. I am hoping that later this year, I will be transferred back to my local hospital, where my treatment started.
My suggestion would be to check out the local hospitals and if specialist, emergency care is required, the hospital should transfer you by Ambulance, if that situation arises.
