Sore feet

I do spend a lot of time in my feet but then I always have but since I’ve been on medication for AIH my feet have been getting worse and worse: tingling, throbbing and very sore and if I rub them I can feel the crystals. Does anyone have the same symptom? If it is at all a symptom!

Off to LifeCo in Bodrum, Turkey for a eeek which I think will do me, and my feet, the world of good!!!

Take care to all,

Angie

Hi Angie. Some medication can affect you skin. I was on a chemo drug for 3 years and one of the many side effects was skin overgrowth on the soles of my feet that made them sore and difficult to walk on. I had to visit the podiatrist once a week to have it removed. Have a good time in turkey and whilst you're there you may find that walking in sand could really help your feet. Best wishes. Alf

Have a great time in Turkey

Hi angiecreaven

Are you due to see your liver specialist? You may want to contact them before you go away on holiday and get some further advice?

Best wishes

Thank you so much Trust1. No I didn’t mention it when I saw my specialist last month because it really wasn’t that bad then and I thought it was just perhaps I was on my feet all day, but I’m only seeing her again in September now. However,I will certainly bring it up where I’m at the LifeCo clinic next week because it is getting worse.. not only sure but throbbing, tingling and sweating! Will keep you all posted and many thanks for those who responded! It’s comforting being a part of this forum! X
