Hi all, I have stage 4 decompensated, two years in.I have developed a slight chest pain over the last week which radiates the full width of the chest, I'd say it feels like a bad stich.Seems to have got worse this morning. It's manageable but don't want anything to go bang.liver seems to be more painful too.
Any ideas. Thanks.

Do you suffer with Ascites? (A big tummy, fluid buildup, etc).
I've had the fluid build up about 3 times (tummy) but never enough for a drain, took a while t get the correct tables (Furosemide )..got a headache along with chest pains too.
Please get it checked out , it will put your mind at rest. Please let us know how you get on. Take care Lynne
Hello Red65,

Any chest pain should be taken seriously and medical help / support should be sought as a matter of urgency.
If you are in the UK you can call either the 999 emergency services number or NHS 111 who are able to assess your symptoms and provide advice or emergency care if required. Otherwise please contact emergency medical services who will be able to give appropriate support.
Hi Red, I have upper chest pain on both sides, and think that if your liver and spleen are enlarged, then it could put pressure on the Glisson's capsule surrounding them. I have this regularly, especially after eating. Hope this helps.
Hi, I was thinking the very same as pain comes from my sides then across my chest..I called 111 and doctor, they said it was likely muscular and not cardiovascular. Chest xray tmw.
