Just looking for some advice. I recently had blood test and ultra sound back all clear. I had an MRI scan last year which came back clear. I have recently been getting a pin prick pain on my right side just below my best and occasionally on the left side also. I do drink wine 3 or 4 nights a week with my husband while having a meal which I have done for years. My Dr said she doesnt y think it's anything sinister and that I should maybe see a chairopractor. I also have high cholesterol which is down to my good cholesterol not being good. Its constantly on my mind thinking there is something wrong but all tests say I'm fine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

What advice are you after were not medically trained and your gp says its something else 🤔
If your really worried how about stop your 3/4 glasses of wine and see if it makes a difference because that's definitely over the recommended weekly allowance of alcohol
I was wondering if anyone else has had the same symptoms and to be told by the Dr there was nothing wrong but maybe there is?
I've already made the decision not to have anymore. I always take part in dry January so I don't find it a problem to stop. Think it's more the social part sharing wine with my husband.
I've just been to the Dr again and she's sending me to a gastroenterologist. She's also doing another blood test and stool sample. Really appreciate your advice. Thank you
I’am quite new to this page so I don’t have a wealth of knowledge on liver issues. However if your thinking it’s liver related ,it’s a good place to come if your worried.
You seem to have had some extensive testing and your told all is well. Therefore if your still worried maybe it’s time to get a second opinion ,so you can rest easy and move forward.
Remember, stress is not good for anyone and can make things feel a lot worse than they are ,as our mind escalates our thoughts to the what if’s, and before long anxiety gets out of hand and this alone can cause all manner of symptoms.
The only thought I had and that’s only because it’s on my personal radar is: You mention thyroid issues in another post, have you had any further testing for autoimmune diseases, especially if you still itch. (Which you also mention in another post).
Yes I dont think stress helps and being 50 now I've got lots going on.
I did think about auto immune with having hypothyroidism. I cut out coffee and now only drink Decaf which has helped alot with the itching. I do still have some pin pricking though on my lower legs randomly.
I've just been to see the Dr and she is going to take more blood and to do a stool sample. She's also advised to see a gastroenterologist.
