Sir/Madam,
I had done my fibro scan. The results comes out are E Value 21.1 kpa where as CAP 310 dB/m is these results are dangerous or life threatening. Please guide. I am alcoholic also. My weight is 120 kg and height is 5' 11". Please advice wisely. I am too much worried about these results.

Hi! I don’t know anything about your results as I’ve never had this test, but I know most people on here are going to tell you to discuss the results with your doctor. Also, with any kind of liver disease you don’t want to be drinking alcohol. Try not to stress yourself out until you have the full picture. I’ve been worrying myself sick lately and it doesn’t do any good. ❤️
Ajo is right. You need to talk to your doctor about results interpretations. Fibroscan results are not always as cut and dry as one would think and as she has said they should always be interpreted in conjunction with the whole clinical picture such as other scans, bloodwork, and patient history.
Alot of members here are quite knowledgable on these tests but we cannot give medical advice or diagnosis of your results as we are not doctors and it is not permitted by our forum policy.

the wisest reply you could get is to stop drinking im an alcoholic myself who hasnt touched a drop for over 30 years and your post reminded me so much 0f my own way of thinking as soon as things went wrong it was please save me god and to everyone else they have to reply to you to. those praying hands must come together before you take the poison as alcoholic is poison to us aklis, people cant talk you well. you must get help to stop this and put the hard work in yourself no one can do it for you i know this sounds harsh and its probobly not what you want to hear but its the truth and the truth sets you free; your doing all this to yourself and there are many people on here who will tell you the same, i go to a a meetings and here it all and as soon as the perosn feels bette they forget how bad it as. it will you do good to worry as its about time to started to worry and care for yourself. you just cant] carry on like this and expect god and everone else to come running to make ou feel better becase one of those times if going to be your last, go to your doctor as may have to take pills to stop you taking fits.wishing you well
Hi there. I have almost the same fibro score but it had to be seen in conjunction with ultrasound and endoscopy. Stop alcohol and you must try to reduce weight. Urgently see a hepatologist.
Your alcohol intake needs to be stopped now and I’m sure you have already been told this.
My Kpa is around the same. I’ve not had an Alchoholic drink in 2 years at which point my Kpa was 23.7 (20.3 now).
Complete abstinence of alcohol is a must as otherwise unfortunately you will deteriorate rapidly.
If you stop now and loose weight you can continue to enjoy your health for many years to come 😉
