So after 4 months some of my Lft's are much improved....and my ultrasound scan yesterday shows no damage to my liver!!! Very pleased!

Still waiting on test results, genotype and viral load and another scan (fibascan..spelling?!)..

For now...all seems well! Keep eating healthy.and suffer the celery juice!

can you tell me what blender you use please as i'v not found one that thoroughly blends carrots. iv had a boss slow juicer for years. its very hard work to clean out and i have to replace the rubber parts on it as they turn black which is horrible i have to soak them regulary in lemon juice and bicarbonate of soda. it puts me off using it. thanks. love grace xoxo

mherbie,

Its always good to see stories like yours.

It confirms how amazing the liver is, how it can can respond so very well to changes in lifestyle.

Its a message we can all learn from.

Sadly, some of us find out too late, but if others see this, and not just on this forum, those at risk can mend their ways and hopefully, prevent serious illness.

Thanks and the best of health in the future.

Jim

Hello mherbie , you must feel very relieved 😊 Hope all the other tests are satisfactory - celery juice sounds disgusting but that's just me 😜

Kind regards

Blended with cucumber and eating apples its fine!! Not my favourite..but its seems to be doing me good..and I have tasted worse! Yesterday I mixed fresh tumeric, ginger, garlic and oranges..lol..some kick! I am having fun with healing foods, I have taken Herbalife for years, and am very thankful for many benefits! 😀

fab news ! But what's with the celery , am I missing something. lol .I have cirrhosis .9 years in June .I do try to eat a good diet but it has slipped since Christmas as I just haven't been feeling so good .herbalife is something I don't think I would be safe to use as I was asking about milk thistle and I was told anything like that is not advisable to the Iver keep doing what your doing !! 👏

Hi Millie, I have only discovered my Hep C since Nov so I'm new here! Herbalife has been a part of my life for 31 years..so its second nature for me. Since the liver diagnosis I have been trying to eat super clean..following reading a book by Antony William...which made sence to me! (Hay house publishers..also havce been a fan of for years and years..Louse Hay "you can heal your life")...Celery, apples and cucumber super blended is one if his liver clense recommendations to start the day! I now eat little and often, snacking on the things my body need!! I do take milk thistle ( I read the discussion's on here.)

So re the liver, so far so good....a little afraid for the fiboscan now booked in for the end oif the month, with meds to start in March...a new part of the journey!
