Well, this weeks doctor anyway. He was dead cute hubba hubba drool .
Anyway, I digress (hubba)
No cancers yet. Yippee
Concerned about my HE. Take more lactulose. Okeydokey.
Hernia,
Will have a proper meeting about it. He had a quick chat to the surgeon who laughed and said that I will get severely decompensated if they operate. I was spying on them as they were in another room.
Liver,
Will never ever get any better. It’s to far gone.
It can stay stable for a long time but my cause of death will probably be from liver failure if I don’t get run over by a bus sooner.
Endoscopy is annually now. No more colonoscopy unless needed. Only bloods and ultrasound every six months.
In summary,
Bloody heck he was CUTE!!!!
Regards,
Bob

I really mean, Crikey, Bob. It really can’t get much worse can it Bob. ☹️.
Maybe you should come to Pommieland and go to QEHB. And that is not a joke, Bob.
Bob
This is where I get frustrated with the medical world. If they can sit and say that your likely demise will be liver failure at some point how is that not a qualifying factor for you to get on the transplant list?!
I get that you are not in " bad enough" circumstances to be assessed according to the doctors but all the varices bandings all the endoscopies and the hernia and other comorbidities hindering your quality of life isnt enough for them?
Just makes my head spin. Your not going out from liver failure! No way no how!
It’s because a high percentage of people with cirrhosis tend to develop liver cancer in the future. That’s why they check for it every six months. The earlier they find it, the better chance of totally eradicating it.
Brett/Bob, all these messages are missing the most important point, so how gorgeous was the Dr!! I once saw a consultant that was just my type, very tall, beautiful big eyes!! I didn't hear anything he said as I was too busy lost in his big brown eyes!!!!!! So you did very well coming back with all that info!! ..
On a serious note, could they not deal with HenryHernia ( I've re named him for you!) under spinal anaesthesia!!! Wouldn't that reduce the risks a bit??? Not sure, just wondered if that had been discussed?
Anyway, I love the way you manage your problems with such wonderful humour, you're my hero!!
Hi Bob. Never give up friend and stay positive. I was considered terminal for 4 years. Transplant assessment offer came like a bolt from the blue and then I was told I only had a 30% chance of getting one. I'm known locally as Lazarus! Keep on truckin' mate! Bob.
Careful when you visit the doctors office next. You convince them that you think everyone's name is a Bob they might jot you down as having a good case of HE !
I was thinking that also lol. I’ve almost convinced myself that my name IS Bob 😂
The doctor hunk bloke thingy thought I had HE as I was quite blunt with him and I came over in an argumentative manner. I also couldn’t remember anything. Nothing to do with his good looks? Noooooooo 😂
Love your humour, I got all that a year ago and after changing healthy life style I’m better than I have been for years. Just gotta keep it up. Lose more wait for me.
