Hi all it just occurred to me that I haven’t posted about this.
The advice is to have inoculations against hepatitis because if you’re liver is already struggling, contracting hepatitis is going to make things a whole lot worse. I got tested first cause my mum has hepatitis, then asked for the jabs taken over 6 months. The inoculations don’t affect your liver. This is free in uk so go get it done

Yes, my consultant wrote to my gp recommending the jab - just had the final one in December.
I told him I wasn't in the 'at risk' groups for contracting the virus, but he was quite insistent.

Hi,
Yes, my husband was told to get the Hep C vaccination after his recovery, so he did get them.
Good advice, thanks.

Hi julie
I had the first one but no more because I got the fabulous CALL 😁. I have been told - 4 months post tp - that I can now restart the jabs 😁.
Seems - from what I’ve been told - that not every consultant/ hospital do this. In fact no one spoke to me ar QEHB until I brought up the subject in December....
