Thanks for all your replies, I appreciate what you all say. I haven't found it easy to get all info. Sometimes gp surgery say that they don't always get results from hospital procedures and the Secretary at the gastro clinic has said she can't read these results. I was fast tracked with the cancer scare so I sometimes think I'll hear if things have worsened. It's good know people do get more feedback and I should be more persistent in future. I think that reading the more indepth medical sites might be confusing too. I hope this reaches everyone because, on top of all this, I have tech inadequacy syndrome too!! I didn't know this worked via email. Please let me know if I'm doing it all wrong. Best wishes. X

Hi Coralsun,
Getting info on your own medical conditions can be a pain and not all health offices share info.
We're in the US - my husband [the one with liver disease] is also treated thru the Veterans Administration and they don't do electronic sharing of medical info - so we often bring written notes from and to the VA and our regular doctors. I, recently, had to go thru radiation treatment and also had a growth on my eyelid that the radiologist was concerned with. Had the growth biopsied by a dermatologist and I told the radiology's nurse what the results were myself. She mentioned that often doctors don't always keep each other informed.
Best Wishes,
Mary
