Glossary & ipad issues

Hi

Yet again had to rebuild ipad (note if anyone (like me) finds that their posts do not resemble what they think they’ve written then it may be :-

Brain fog 😁

An ipad keyboard bug which is rife and no solution yet (google it). The keypad will change the letter you typed, put letters in even when you don’t enter one and, most often, repeat leters two or three times at random. I could never believe some of my posts and had put it down to the tablets! 😁😁😁

Anyhow I’ Lost my link to the Glossat and can’t find it, anyone help please? Why the website can’t be made to have it as a menu item is beyond me!

Thanks

Miles

healthunlocked.com/britishl... Maybe because I made it a private thread it doesn't show up in the search Health Unlocked / search British Liver Trust results.

Bookmark it if you can, I don't know how fancy tablet gadgets work, I am on a laptop.

All the best, Katie

I personally find an iPad easier to use than a laptop. My laptops been sitting on the side since I had to give up work. Switched it on the other day and the protection had run out on it and it was full of viruses. Took it down the repair shop to be fixed and they wanted to charge me more than what the thing was worth (it’s about 6 years old). So went back to using my iPad. How the heck do you rebuild an iPad? Sounds complicated

Hi smyley

Follow following path:-

Settings/general/reset/erase all content and settings

And then select back up and erase from the pop up box.

BEWARE it will take you ages to reload things that you might lose but generally you dont lose actual data, if you do thats the purpose of the backup. BUT I can seldom get backupnto give me what I want it seems to be retrieve everything or nothing? But if you know, or anyone knows, how to do selective retrieve i'd love to hear!
