Hi there I haven’t experienced that but it sounds like you need to get it checked out the trouble with cirrosis we tend to focus on it because it’s serious and could be neglecting other medical problems. You can email your liver unit apparently.
I would recommend you see your doctor and/or mention it next time you see your hepatologist. Vitamin D levels should be checked-mine were very low, so I take a vitamin D/calcium supplement (calcichew) prescribed by my doctor.
Ktan. I remember having a really bad pain in my shoulder ( which I wrongly diagnosed as a frozen shoulder) for a year before I was diagnosed with HCC and cirrhosis. I was told then that it was a pain caused by pressure from the poorly liver. After having 2 sessions of TACE for tumours in the liver the pain disappeared. Not sure if this is of any help to you but it shows that pain in one area can be caused by something in a completely different area. You need to get it checked out though. It could even be something simple and easily sorted.
