July 5th 2017 I was admitted to hospital seriously ill with cirrosis of the liver and given 6 months to live.π’
That was nearly 15 months ago and I've been sober ever since not even a chocolate liquor has passed my lips π
I've done enough beating meself up about the past,I'm on meds for life and left crippled with PN through my own stupidity but life goes on and I'm alive π
My thing now is I'm piling on the pounds,I was told to but not to this extent π²
Any tips on how to eat to make me better but not put on weight or could it be my meds? Cheers π

If you have a liver condition, there are some special considerations you may need to make in your diet to stay nutritionally well and to help to manage your condition. Some of these are specific to certain liver diseases, others relate to how advanced your liver disease is. We therefore always suggest that people should discuss their specific dietary needs with their own doctors in the first instance. The consultant may then choose to refer you on to a hospital registered dietitian for more specific guidance.
You may find our publications on 'Cirrhosis and liver disease' and 'Diet and liver disease' useful to read, but please do see your own doctors for specific diet advice.
What meds are you on?. hello and welcome by the wayπ. As for the wretched neuropathy, check out ALA or alpha lipotic acid on line or youtube. It has stopped mine, but check with your doc first as you,re on ,meds. x
