Yes!

I was told some might fall out and not to get any implants for a year as it takes time for things to settle down. I’d still go to the dentist, explain you are post tx and see if they can suggest something to help the gums.

Good luck 😁

Hi huw . Hope all is ok ! Well i havent had a tx , but what I do know is I suffer with that anyway, I do go dentist regular and they have me prescription toothpaste called durophat which over times strengthens the bones and gums .worth asking about.. best wishes Linda

Hi huw, I have had lots of problems with my teeth and gums, lost quite a few teeth , i use toothpaste and mouthwash specially for gum problems and find it helps a lot especially the listerine one but it is pretty yucky to take, it was much worse when I was taking steroids, take care 🌸

Thanks for the information it’s really helped, I decided to ring the co ordinators at addenbrookes as my dentist was reluctant to see me due to only being 11 weeks post TX (not happy) neither was coordinators they advised GP who was fantastic took a good look around not only mouth but a good check all round and prescribed a prednisolone soluble mouth wash just make sure I don’t swallow it 😳

I haven't had treatment. My teeth and gums are always very sore. I was prescribed by the Dentist the same toothpaste as Millie09 which I find is excellent. It really does help a lot.

I hope you can find something to help you. I would much prefer to stay away from Steroid type things so go careful with the mouthwash.

I hope things will improve for you very soon.
