Hi kitKatkaz, she was doing a little better yesterday, she's a good colour and breathing on her own and they are trying to reduce her sedation. You can follow her families updates on Facebook on the page 'Michelles liver transplant journey'. Think shes still in kings, family have asked for no visitors until she is out of icu though. Xxx

She's still in intensive care as yet, they took her off sedation yesterday but as of last night she was still sleeping. As stacie mentioned the family want to give her time untill shes well enough to see other visitors. I can't get to kings but i have left several messages with her that i know she will read eventually...😊.

Update on chelle from her family on her fb page

Chelle was put back under sedation today as yesterday was just a tester to see how she would react but she was not happy at all. She remains stable but still critical, her body will heal while she is sleeping..

Just taking time bless her .💜..linda

Update on chelle from hrr family last night,

Chelle remains sedated, but the doctors are happy with her, she is being well cared for by all the nurses in ICU..

chelle had minor surgery on Thursday, procedure called washing the liver..that all went good. Chelle remains slow and steady.. .

thank you so much Millie09, poor love going through all this, we hear lots of reports how straightforward everything went, but she seems to have gone through so much. Fingers crossed for her fast recovery from now on. From personal experience the hepatologists at Kings are absolutely dedicated and wonderful. I shall look forward to receiving your updates. K

Hi everyone, update on chelle.

This is a summary of what is on her fb page from immediate family

Day 21.. chelle has been stable now for a few days, she had a ct scan yesterday that is showing her liver is not getting enough blood, so either Thursday or Friday they will proceed to do a fifth operation to remove her spleen to allow chelle the best recovery.

Surgeons and consultants say they are confident enough for chelle to have the operation as she is strong enough.

Any further news i will.be sure to let you all know. 😏.. Linda xx

Bit late on update for chelle as i was not at home Thursday evening.

Chelle has had her spleen removed, remains in icu. Surgeons were happy that all went well. Will update as and when.

Let's hope this is the road to recovery now. 🤞

thanks Linda, let's hope so. I'm at the hospital again Thursday so perhaps she'll be on a general ward by then and I will drop by for a few minutes. Keeping everything crossed that it is all up up up from now on. K

Hi kitkatkaz and all. New update on chelle. She had another "wash out " Saturday morning as the Drs suspected an internal bleed.

Chelle lost a lot of blood during the night but has remained stable. From her family on Facebook xx

Hi kitakatz, and everyone. There was a new post on chelle fb page from the family.

Chelle had a trackie fitted but did not go to plan, she started bleeding quite a lot and was taken back to theatre. Her face and neck is quite swollen but should improve in the next 24 hours. ..

I presume that chelle has had a tracheotomy.. god bless her and her family. Can't believe it has been 28 days. 😏.. Linda xx
