You might be right locked. I did notice Dave went silent around the same time. Ubwa tried to check in with Danny while in the area but couldn’t get any info. I hope they are both doing awesome.

I tend to agree. I was concerned for a bit, but when I thought about it, I think he’s just decided to stop posting on the site. It’s a shame he didn’t explain a bit more explicitly that that’s what he was doing as I can see from replies and posts that people have been concerned. At the end of the day though I think people either find the site helpful or not and use it more sometimes than at others. Let’s just wish him well on his liver journey. There’s so many people on here who are the font of knowledge and others who make us laugh that I’m sure the forum will rumble on and help so many people. I know I’ve found it enormously helpful, I wish I’d found it sooner after my diagnosis as I’m sure it would have allayed my concerns. So thankyou.

He was given a serious prognosis - that I understand all too well. So well i want to believe he checked out only from social media - i kinda don't trust that hypothesis

Well I really hope he’s just stopped posting. He brought a lot to his forum and he’s missed. I’d hate to think it was more.

I think when Danny said checking out he was talking about the hospital - he was waiting to be discharged.As for Dave his last post said he was getting better.

I guess you only need this forum when you're ill, you get better and get back to the life you had before (though for obvious reasons not entirely the same)

I noticed Danny said we had got boring on here, so maybe he got bored of trying to cheer us all up.
