Is there a USA liver site

Hi all, I am just wandering if there is a site like this one for those of us living in North America. I ask because I know the medicine field and processes are dealt differently here than in Britain. Such as insurance and the requirements to get a transplant.

There are and have been quite a few Americans using this site on a regular basis.

Yes, there are some procedural and cultural differences but the liver knows no borders, race or gender !

I’m on both sites.ive learned so much from both.this is a terrible disease and I think we can use all the help we can get. There’s so many compassionate people on both sides of the pond!!! Just to think only a few years ago we didn’t have these sites.

there are a number of support groups on FB and mostly in the US type in what you have and something will pop up

Yes there are many FB sites , some specific to why you have liver disease some more generalised . Many may be global , as is the one I admin on , but it does have many US members . We all help and guide each other . Its also interesting and sometimes frightening to see and hear what happens or doesn't in other parts of the world.
