I know this is unlikely but are any of you completely unable to swallow tablets? I’ve had this problem all my life and so far the meds I’ve had have all been available in liquid form or dissolvable so I’ve been lucky but I’m worried that this might not be case with meds needed after transplant?
Thanks!

Hi, I look after my husband with NASH. I have the problem you describe with tablets, I chew them! I cannot swallow them whole. It's a nightmare.i have suffered with this since teenage years (I'm 57 now!). I understand what you're saying completely. x
Thanks remainer! It is a nightmare and some doctors aren’t very understanding about it. Sorry to hear you have the same issue but good to know I’m not the only one.
No problem Craig. I think you'd be surprised how many others have this problem. My husband will be having chemoembolisation soon for a liver tumour. Sending all good wishes. Christine.
Thanks Jim that’s extremely helpful and reassuring. I understand why some people don’t like prescribing oral suspensions as they are more expensive which I always feel bad about but if there is no alternative at least I know they are available.
Hope your husband goes on ok with his chemembolisation. I also hope everything works out for everyone on this forum and also for anyone else who is suffering. Love and hugs all around Lynne xx
