I am supposed to have an ultrasound done of my liver my drs nurse told me last week that they have to pre authorize it to make sure my insurance will cover it and I haven’t herd anything and if it was urgent do you think they would want it done sooner

Yes there making sure my insurance will cover for me to get it done

Ok it’s not a very expensive procedure anyway. Don’t think a few days here or there will make much difference- I’ve had a few

Why the tests? Have you some blood work done or you have symptoms?

Back in November my liver levels were high two weeks ago I seen my dr and she said I needed blood work done again cause they were high so I had them done and they called me that Friday and said they were still high and I needed more blood work done so I got it done they didn’t call me so I called them and the nurse told me all my levels were normal except one my ALAPHA two is high it’s 1.2 and it’s supposed to be 1.2 the nurse said it was a high normal so my dr wants me to have an ultrasound done to make sure there not missing anything and there’s no scarring in my liver

Hi r u sure it was alpha2 not alpha1
