Went to theatre and put to sleep only to wake 11 hours later to find some poor person was at the last minute in more need than me, so am recovering from all the drugs ( feel like poo) and back home tomorrow but been told it will happen soon. Thankyou all for all your wishes and hope you all stay as well as possible

I am so sorry to hear this has happened to you. Please continue to stay strong as you have been doing. Something similar happened to me. I was in the hospital with multiple organ failure (liver & kidney) and an intern doctor told me that they found a match. Turned out not so.... I went into a coma from HE twice after this and then put on dyalisys which saved my life until on Feb 3, 2017 I had my liver transplant. I just had my one year mark and I have not had any rejection issues. Yes, medication stuff but no rejection.
I guess when it truly is your time for your wonderful gift of life it is your time. I've been reading all of the wonderful and supportive posts from everyone and I am truly touched with the heart felt love. This is my first time posting and I just had to reach out to you to tell you to hold on and fight until your day. It will be your perfect day. After my surgery I was asked by many what kept me going and fighting. I simply said that's what you do, I know nothing more than to have HOPE. I wish you all the best and you will be in my thoughts. Think of this:
What a lovely thing to post for the very first time since i woke ive smiled & thought yes bring it on. I’ve been so upset today feeling very sorry for myself , myself and donna have shed a lot of tears and probably will again but you have just re a woken my fire
Fingers crossed for you that your real call comes very soon and all works out fantastic. Gutted for you that you had to go all the way to theatre & wake to find out it hadn't gone ahead this time.
Really sorry to read this. Hope your call comes soon and it all works out next time. They say everything happens for a reason and I hope one day in the near future you will be able to feel this. My thoughts are with you
Aw Huw , that’s just rubbish but just think of it as a rehearsal for the real thing which hopefully will be very very soon, also give that lady of yours a great big hug I saw she had put something on your profile and wished I could have replied to her but I didn’t know how anyway let her know she also was in my thoughts, take care til next time 😘😘
Thankyou Kate I will do when I see her tomorrow hopefully to pick me up, I actually think it’s harder for those waiting she looked absolutely shattered when I opened my eyes and she’s been here all day.
Totally agree, I felt so bad for my family and friends because I could see how much they were upset and worried for me, I was fine getting all the medication and support from the doctors and nurses but I do think it was harder on the ones watching me go through it, that’s why it struck a chord with me when i saw what she had written,
Keep your head high and stay strong. Use the experience as a trial run. Remember that you are stronger after yday. It’s a shame it didn’t happen, but I am sure you will get your chance soon.
I am so very sorry that you have (not) had this blessing right now. It puts all our sufferings into perspective. There is always someone in a worse situation. I really hope you don’t have to wait much longer. My heart goes out to you xx
Omg i am so sorry that this has happened. I really don't know what to say i could not imagine how you are feeling. Fingers and toes crossed that you will be back very soon for your new liver. I always put things down to fate and maybe this time it wouldn't have been right for you and the right one is on its way. Please stay positive and keep strong it Will be your turn soon. 🤞🤞😁😁
Only just seen this 😩. Try and take the positives buddy that if you have had one call, from what I’ve read and heard from people I met in hospital when I had my transplant -the next call shouldn’t be too long to wait.
