Who diagnosed you with fatty liver and cirrhosis? There is NAFLD and NASH. Nash is a fatty liver disease that is more serious than NAFLD. So, first of all you need to establish which kind of these fatty liver problems is yours. When you have that information you’ll know how to move forward. A diagnosis of cirrhosis can occur after one has NaSH but there is no rule that says it will definitely happen. Some people have Nash and cirrhosis does happen then unfortunately but like I say, it doesn’t always follow. You must be one of the very unlucky ones. I will not, nor can I comment on your blood results for two reasons- firstly , the British Liver Trust do not sanction talking openly about such results and secondly, results for one person may be exactly the same as for another but with completely different liver disease diagnoses and vice-versa, blood results may be totally different for similar diagnoses. You Must write or go back to the Physician who diagnosed you to get a full and clear explanation of your own particular scenario. Write notes, take someone with you, don’t be fobbed off. It is your body, your liver and you have every right to ask every nitty gritty question.
