Hi, I was diagnosed with decompensated cirrhosis & with meds & diet have improved greatly but in the past few months have had unbearable pain between my shoulder blades. Had an MRI & they picked up two nodules on my pancreas. I'm waiting to see consultant but has anybody had experience of this?

Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. I've been throwing up since 2.35am & its now 13.37. Don't know if its a bug, my liver or my pancreas! I know what you mean about eating tho as you either end up being sick or in agony. I can't even stand for more than 10 mins without it feeling like somebody's ran into me with a truck. Hope you get sorted soon xx

Just got back from GPS & he's confirmed pancreatitis. My MRI shows my portal hypertension has subsided & my liver looks a bit better but prominent lymphnodes are seen in the periportal & peripancreatic region. They haven't grown since my MRI in sept but are "reactive". It also shows my gallbladder is distended. My recent bloods show my Amylase level at 179. He told me not to worry & wait for appt with consultant. Thanks for all your help x

Good try not to worry. Did you have symptoms with the Pirtal hypertension? If so, would you mind sharing with me. I don’t feel great today & am wondering is it my Portal Hypertension or varicies or both?

Yes vulnerable I had ascites and had to have 5 drains between 10/16 & 02/17. Thankfully it calmed down when my body got used to the spironalactone & I'm only on 50mg a day now. Thankfully I haven't had any varices yet but have got gastropathy & vascular lesions. In which way are you not feeling great? Xx
