Today I hear that my results for blood tests, kidney function test, liver function test are all clear. I still have pain if I press or stretch below my right ribs otherwise I have no symptoms at all of liver problems could it be a muscle strain?

Well i had this pain about 7 months ago and every now and then i fill it. Its mild pain and if i press on i can feel it more even its not going to be more then mild pain. As well since i used to drink kinda heavy in the last couple of years i was afraid it was my liver and then i started to read Dr Google and got familiar with all the horrible liver diseases and that started my health anxiety issues. Been to blood/liver tests- all clear. Ultrasound- All clear just few small cysts which the Dr says cant be causing any pain. No other symptoms of liver issue. Just from the fear of those things i haven't drink since.

Some people say if you can actually press on the spot and feel this pain its most likely muscles. And there many of them in this area.

BTW, sometimes i can fell this pain on the left side as well but again its mild and passing withing minutes and with some movement/stretches.

I think that we should live by a general rule of doing what good for us BUT not overdue on anything. dont overdue it with alcohol but dont overdue it with healthy lifestyle either. Find the right balance and enjoy life. I am still trying to adopt this way myself... :)

Merry Christmas !

Hi

Good news that your tests seem to be good....but remember the worry & anxiety you had when you thought it was something more sinister, enjoy life but your post implies you need to drink to have a good Christmas? You don’t

All the best

Agree. I used to think like that as well... we dont need to drink to have fun. more important is good company.
