Pain shooting thru my husbands feet

End stages of liver disease, my ex husband has been complaining of horrible pain shooting thru his feet. What can he do to help with this pain.

Hi I used to suffer terrible problems with feet and legs is it cramp? Or restless leg syndrome because a lot do get that try tonic water and also standing on cool flooring tiles or laminate . I can't remember shooting pain as such x
