Hi, Is there any one who can tell if there is any treatment other than allopathic for stage 2cirrhosis of liver treatment. The allopathic Doctors say nothing positive with medication.Only advise for supportive measure like eating fruits and vegetables.avoid red meat, regular physical exercise etc. Please let me know if any body taking antioxidant preparation with milk thistle and getting benefit i.e.fibrotic liver is gradually becoming normal. If so then I shall also follow the same course

Lots of love to everyone.

Sorry to hear this, but you should not take Milk Thistle without medical advise.

Cirrhosis is irreversible but depending on the reason may be slowed. Many causes cannot be slowed atall. You also need your red meat for iron in your system. If you cut this out you could be become iron deficient.

Who has diagnosed you and with what tests?

Do you have a diagnosis for the reason your Cirrhosis?

What is an Allopathic Doctor?

Have you been examined and tested by the your GP or Consultant?

Thanks you a lot for nice note.i was detected hep c virus in 2011.subsequently CT scan showed two tumours in the right lobe of liver. And in July 2016 CT scan and histopathology at UPMC hospital, Pennsylvania showed liver was cirrhotic.Surgical oncologist changed his mind for doing partial resection of right lobe and instead advised for TACE.TACE done 3 times in 3 months and 2 tumours almost healed.AFP came down to 200iu/ml right from 10000iu/ml in September 2015.But now I am mainly concerned with the Cirrhosis of liver.please advise me how should live and what should I do to maintain a near healthy liver so as to live for desired period just to fulfill the dream of life. Thanks again

God bless you.

I don't take milk thistle or any supplements, ask your doctor or specialist. I am yet to see a consultant, hopefully in week or so

best wishes

Thanks Carllovat for the nice note.very truly speaking I could never imagine that one day I shall be caught in with this fatal disease and my life would be shattered.I want to live more years to fulfill the unfulfilled task there by materialising the dream of Life.I was first caught with hep c virus which was detected in 2011 and now the virus treated and cleared off the blood. But it Left behind a trail of devastation.I don't know what should I do to keep my liver as far healthy as possible so as to maintain an active life for at least desired period.I have been trying to eat liver friendly foods except whole fresh fruits and vegetables.Because due to IBS I can't tolerate these food stuff. Is there any commercial pills or tablet or syrup available to replace the deficiency of antioxidant and vitamins, minerals contained in fresh fruits and vegetables.God bless you.

i think you need to see a dietitian, the only other advice i can give you is no booze, salt, red, meat, excess fats. and keep your bowels free
