So my endoscopy this morning showered, several small bleeds but nothing they can band....so to that end I am back in 6 months assuming no complications....
Honestly....worst endoscopy I've had in a long time.....I am ready to get off the merry-go-round now...

Hi chelle , I really don't know how you do it , so so many endoscopies been done . well good news that there is nothing major to report and fingers crossed no more for 6 .months 🤞. my worst one was at queen Elizabeth hospital in June .. to this day I can still feel that so called black camera at the back of my throat 🤢. sedation did not work .worst 15 mins ever !! . hope you are keeping well though . linda x
Hi Linda. I’m sorry you had a bad experience. I went under GA for one a few years back and that wasn’t nice. My liver doesn’t like Anesthetisic. Sedation isn’t too bad. I don’t go near the spray though.....bananas my butt!! I should be used to them now....🙄
hi chelle , oh it was awful ! yet the sedation worked previously on my other two . I didn't have the throat spray as I don't think I would like the feeling after . fingers crossed I won't need another one for a while 🤞
You're amazing as I blankly have refused many as they are a negative trigger for me but did succumb to one in January and hated every minute of it.. I can't imagine having to have regular ones.. xx
I have that much bleeding in my stomach that I don’t think I could refuse. I do have to admit after about a week I do feel a bit better. Not so much blood on my tummy.....
Yes, it does taste like bananas....... Rotten bananas.
I had to have an ERCP recently to fit a billiary stent. Much like the normal Endoscopy but can last between one and two hours, I was lucky (?), mine just lasted the one hour. They enjoyed doing it so much, they want me back in 3 months to do it all again.
