Even more confused.

I had my endoscopy today nothing to report. It was all ok.

Apart from the gagging apparently I have a really enhanced gagging reflex that starts at the stomach which is odd.

He suggested it's an irritable bowel and I need to go on a bland diet.

What on earth is this got to do with my liver? What has this got to do with my right side pain? What has this got to do with my alt?

I'm honestly at the point of giving up as I really don't understand anything.

I've now got to wait till August to see him again to explain this further and to see if the bland diet works.

For someone who loves food I'm going to struggle lots.

If they've confirmed it's not liver disease but is IBS thats really good news. Why it's affecting your right side and ALT I've no idea, and obviously you need to know to be sure of your diagnosis. If you can't wait until August you can normally get to speak to your consultants secretary and ask them to pass on questions, or request an earlier consultation.

Just had a rheumatology appt. looks like it's ibs and psc.

Had some more blood tests to rule everything else but the rheumatologist was convinced.

More so than my very confused gasterologist.

Just need to see both in 8 weeks. Now to crack on with this diet thing x
