yellow tongue: Hi,i have a permanent... - British Liver Trust
yellow tongue
iv had that and thought it was something to do with the liver. iv also had gallstones and had my gallbladder removed , i clean my tongue in the morning with a tongue scraper. thats the best thing to do so that it does not cause infection. im not sure what it is. i dont think its anything serious, i have heard that it can be due to the way we digest our food and i'v also heard it was to do with the liver. so im not sure. you could google it and see what comes up. love grace xoxo sorry i meant to as you if its the pain in your stomach thats stopping you from wanting to eat. please go to the doctor and get something for this pain as we need to eat and maybe this could be causing your tongue to get yellow as we need to eat ,
You should get it checked out. When you've got 'new' symptoms you should run them past doctor. A tongue coating can go along with liver disease but it could also be a fungal infection such as Oral Thrush so it would be wise to get checked out because it's easily treated.
