Everything is free. Hospital bed, oxygen machine, portable oxygen tanks to carry about, wheel chair, shower chair, walked, ah morphine finally, a nurse 2 days a week plus nurse assistant to bathe and groom me, house keeper, Buddhist chaplain, social worker, on call 24 hours for me, putting in drain and nurse will pump me 2 days a week and teach me how, I got sleep meds, all my meds arrive at my door with fed x, they are chock full of compassion and happiness so loving, I get all supplies free, latex gloves, depends, those kinds of things. I never drive to them. They come here to me for my comfort. They are a flock of angels. I am without pain, eating again, a little. I can get them here any time as I have 24/7 access to them. It's a lovely experience. My children are with me. To top it off I have all of you right here talking to me from sun up to down. Aloha

Awwww i have been reading all your posts recently. ..i was on the forum last year waiting for treatment for my hep c that was starting to give me some serious problems. .Thank god i got Harvoni and have been free from hep c for 8mths now.
You are such a brave woman and reading your posts was inspiring to say the least...i haven't been on the forum for at least 6mths ..just been catching up on all the people who gave me support and advice at a time when i needed it..
A great bunch of people who help eachother through difficult times when they need advice or are feeling low.
I was sad to hear your news but humbled at how you coped with such dignity also still willing to chat to others at this time..happy your getting all the support you need and have a loving family around you at this time.
God bless you and give you strength to cope with all your having to go through and hope this time will be easier for you surrounded by your loving family Xx

Now that's more like it! Sounds like you are in a good place so happy to hear this news, I love our hospice here in Ann Arbor Mi helped my whole family and my mom was so much better off with them in her life. Enjoy the day there I think it's day not sure of time difference?

I'm waiting for assessment in Birmingham with view to be listed for transplant, I know how lucky I am and have not spoken about it on here. If I could do anything for you I would like swap places. Reading cats message i think her care is in her own home not a hospice!
Reading through her message it does look like the care is all at home..this is wonderful if i have it right..there is angles out there taking care of her and she is surrounded by loving family!
