Very generous thoughts Liver_Donor, but in the UK i believe live liver transplants are done between family members only, and in some cases adult to paediatric.

What you could do which would have immediate benefit, is be a blood donor blood.co.uk/ and you could also register with the Organ Donor register organdonation.nhs.uk/regist...

It's not recommended to put email addresses in the public domain on the forum. There is a private messaging service if you want people to contact you off board.

Bolly it's Rachel, I've been put on tenofivor now they're giving me a bit naseau some days and flatulence, I've been given three months supply from the hospital, and I've beenjoy on the tablets since June 22nd, getting used to them, just had bloods taken to check everything's alright, so waiting in results, as they said sometimes the tablets affect the protein in you're urine, kidneys, I'm just fedup of arthritic pain just now, but it's a good summer, I'm just great full for still being here, does tenofovor bloat you're stomach because I've had that recently I suffer from IBS so it a real pain, I'm going to see the doctor next week to get my IBS sorted because the flatulence is getting embarrassing, right away to do my morning exercises, hope you're well, love rachel843012

Hi Rachel - I havent had digestive issues/wind/gas as a side effect of Tenofovir. I've been on them about 6 years now and the one tablet a day is keeping my Hep B viral load undetectable. Initially my periods stopped completely the moment i started taking them, not sure if the tablets caused this (I was 54 so it could have been the menopause but usually that happens over time rather than suddenly). Recently my kidney function has deteriorated, but it has taken 6 years for this to happen. If it goes down further - my eFGR should be >60 (it was >90 when i started) but now its 58 and falling - the docs will switch me to Entecavir.

It must be my IBS it's getting beyond a joke, I think it's just stress, I've under a lot of stress, due to the bereavements last year, and my daughter going out with this old man, she's 40 he's 76, it disgusts me, and he's rotten to her, but I try not to think about it, and he's poisoned my grandchildren against me, evil man, I'm 59 I was in July, the big 60, next year, I've got the hep b virus as well, I'd never heard off it in my life before, when my kids were younger I put it to the back off my mind, now it's had to come about as we had 4 close bereavements, last year, it made my virus rise more than double, so it kept rising, so it's now tenofivor a tablet a day, I've just had bloods done so I'm phoning the doctor on Tuesday morning to get an appointment , we have to tap the phone for 15 minutes to get through to get an appt, on the day, so I will see him about stomach tablets, and I've to go to gynaecologist again, I had cancer 16 years ago, and I had an examination on Thursday and I've got psoriasis down below, but he's saw something he wouldn't say , if it's not one thing it's another, and my spines killing me just now, as I have spine trouble m poor you bolly, that's all you need, I will put a prayer in for you, it's nice to talk to you again, let me know how you get on take care xxxxxxxx

This is very random and ridiculous

Why would you put this on a forum? Sorry but it's incredibly insensitive to people waiting for a liver and knowing how it works.

It very much reads as though you want to do a private deal .. what do you expect us to do? Pay for the chance or break the law?

Please seek professional help of one kind or another

This is so offensive ,I don't believe for one minute your being truthful, giving out an email address ,do you really believe this is how it works should be ashamed of yourself , probably done this for another reason ,very sad

There's a right and a wrong way of being a live liver donor. The wrong way to announce it on a forum like this which is why you're getting some negative comments, because people will suspect you're either not serious and just being controversial (trolling), or that you maybe wanting to make a business transaction which is illegal and many would say immoral. The correct way if you are serious is to contact the NHS if you're in the UK. I imagine there are stringent rules and regulations to this and I would start by contacting your local GP surgery and see if they know the correct channels.

If you are serious I would commend you on your bravery and generosity as it is quite a selfless act.
