Bruising

I look like I have gone ten rounds with Mike tyson at the moment,  never had so many bruises at the same time is this a common complaint with people??

It'll be because of your low platelet count and blood clotting issues but yes easy bruising is another wonderful symptom of your cirrhosis.

They must be a lot lower than normal then bloody liver lol. Good job it's not warm at moment I look like a battered wife x

When do you next have a transplant clinic appointment?  They should do all those blood tests for INR and platelets.

sorry don't know why you have bruising before the transplant must be as above? I am sorry to say but I have loads of bruises after the transplant, they just say it's because of the Asprin I have to take to keep my blood from clotting. so the bruises will be around for a while yet lol. I know when I went on holiday last year my legs where a multi coloured delight :). Thinking about it I did have bruises around my eyes before the transplant- looked like I had to black eyes never did find out why. Hope all goes well and you get your transplant soon x Keep smiling

Yes, I thinks it's common although never suffered with it myself. Low platelet as above sounds about right, probably worth mentioning next time you get a chance.
