Jim is doing well. Starts physio proper today, but sat out for an hour yesterday.

Thank you all for your good wishes - they were amazing.

Great news. That initial period post transplant can be quite a challenge and I recall having to persuade myself to do the chair-based physio and then walking a bit more each day. I was thrilled when I finally persuaded myself to walk visitors out to the entrance at Bexley Wing.

My recollection, however, was for very long days and I don't know about Jim but I was desperate for things to do but without the attention span to do too much at any one time. I was a bit like a toddler needing lots of toys so depending on Jim's preferences, give him lots of options to help pass the time.
