My goodness you must be so concerned. Go back to the hospital with your concerns to find out at once.
My thoughts are with you.
Agree with what Tracy0512 and Cosm1c have said. I'm sure they will many here who will be able to help you and point you in the right direction. Hope you get this sorted out quickly. Thinking of you xx
Hi I put on a lot of weight after my transplant and my belly was big, not so much swollen though. Docs at Birmingham said I was borderline obese at 16 stone though it was only noticeable on my belly . Once the steroids stopped and I got back to work properly it went down quite a bit and now having a puppy walking has helped a lot .
Good luck
Hi
This happened to my husband .
Eventually they listened and he has Incisional hernias which is common after Transplant.
He is still awaiting surgery to repair them.

thanks everyone
Hi
I had my transplant 4 months ago at Jimmies, Leeds and have had swelling ever since having the surgery. In addition I had pneumonia during my post transplant hospital stay and after leaving I have had a really bad cough, cold and sore throat and fluctuating temperature ever since. My whole body aches as I can't stop with the chesty Phlemy cough, I have no energy to do anything and have lost my appetitie as it goes out twice as fast (sorry I didn't know how to say it). I too was very concerned about it and it really hit home when a close friend asked if how many months I was and the due date, you can imagine I was mortified. The consultant said it is way too early to tell if its a hernia (as its 3 different sites of swelling) and as it could be another major operation they would like to avoid as the surgeon is pretty much a butcher. Basically, too early and it's a matter of waiting. This certainly put the frighteners on me, just try to take each day at a time and not think about what if's. It's hard but please try the positive outlook route first as only time will tell.....
Please feel free to ask me anything as I would like to help.
Onwards to a speedy recovery.
