Increasing the distance and pace!

Today I went for a head clearing run with a view to increasing my time by 2 mins (I’m trying to do this a bit each week) and I accidentally ran 6.5K in 44 minutes! This is the furthest I’ve run yet and so I achieved a PB in distance and 5K time. I think sometimes we can run the risk of becoming obsessed with numbers and today I was just mindfully concentrating on my running form and clearing my head, just going out for me today felt like a win BTW I know some people can go much faster but this is really an achievement for me. Whoop whoop!

It’s amazing how many head clearing runs turns into speedy ones! Congratulations on a fab new PB….something to be really proud of and worth of celebrating! I wouldn’t be at all surprised if you find lots more things to celebrate as you keep on building! 🎉🎉🎉
