Hello?I currently run 5k a couple of times a week, I’m thinking about doing a 7k in October do you think this is doable?

Absolutely. Work up gradually. Add about 0.5km to one of your runs each week.

Absolutely - have you seen Ju Ju’s magic run plan - it worked really well for me. Sorry I haven’t got the link but someone will have - I started using the timings then went on to the distance and have just today run a 10k! Go for it

If you can run 5k a few times a week, then you're perfectly prepared to run 7k this week you had to.

Definitely.. next time you go out for your run, start slower than you usually do and see if you can carry on to 5.5 K you should manage this fine, good luck and let us know how you get on 😁👍

Just go for it. I'm 53 and completed c25k last September. Now doing long runs of 15-17k. One tip I picked up and stuck to was not looking at my Garmin watch to check on distance during a run. Personally if I feel ok I will do longer distances if not I may only do 5-10k just go with what your body is telling you.

Probably capable of it now to be honest, so October will be no problem as you can gradually increase one run each week.
