Monthly PB

Well, April has been something of a bumper month. So far this year I've been averaging around 150km/month which is pretty steady. This month, probably on account of the extra daylight, I've pushed on to 185km/115mi, which is my biggest monthly total ever (my average run this month being 11.6km/7.2mi).

If that weren't enough, I've somehow managed 620k steps this month with a day left; another monthly record. The two totals are obvious connected, but not entirely dependent on each other.

Just goes to show that a couple of hours more daylight absolutely puts a spring in the step.

On to Miles for Mind in May now. Happy running and, as always (and possibly more than ever now that things are opening up again), stay safe.

Thanks Tasha. Not sure where it came from as I wasn't aiming for anything specific; it just sort of happened.
