I ran my third sub 30 minutes 5K this afternoon, would you believe it at the exact same time as last week, 28:42. This is still my fastest time to date!My splits were 6:06, 5:44, 5:41, 5:35 and 5:33 🔥🔥🔥I am really pleased with that and feeling motivated for my next run.
Gosh it was so cold today ❄️❄️❄️. I wore my running jacket and long sleeved running top, I felt fine once I got going but was cold walking to the park. I think I am going to get some running gloves 🧤 🧤and maybe some thermal running leggings. Looking forward to my next run on Sunday and completing week four!!!

Amazing. Well done. Your times are soooo impressive and your enthusiasm is brilliant!
Must admit that I’m more than a tad envious but will remind myself that each of us is on a journey and it’s really great to be able to share and celebrate (and sometimes comfort and commiserate) - that’s what makes this forum such a special place!! 👍🏻🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️
Ah thank you so very much Jiveblue that is so kind of you.
Ah bless, yes it is such a wonderful forum such a great support. I had a rubbish run last Sunday, was really tired, cold and felt so disappointed in myself then really anxious in on my next run which was my first 8km. My friend at work runs 5k sub 20 minutes which is mind boggling, I am in complete admiration of her!!
Great run. I can only dream of those splits! I’ve just finished W3 of the timed plan and am enjoying the longer distances. Looking forward to seeing your 10K celebration post 😊
Hi Frizzbomb67, that is fantastic, well done you!!👏👏👏 that is great you are enjoying the longer distances, good luck for week four, look forward to hearing how it goes.
Brilliant time, you’re smashing those 5k’s these days. I haven’t tried to run a sub 30 5k for ages, might try one soon. Well done Your speed is really impressive 👏🏻👏🏻🏃♀️
Ah thank you! I am getting there although think I will be slowly down when moving up to next km increase really get the difference at the end going from 7k to 8km. Really want to get into a routine of going for early morning run, haven’t been able to do one yet! Have a lovely rest of the weekend
