I had a lovely steady 6k run today. Changed my Music, (Take That Odyssey) and changed my route to mix things up a bit. I decided I wanted to run at a steady, slower pace. I did not look at my watch till I was 5k in and enjoyed the run so much more not worrying about the timings and also running a bit slower. I ran 6k in 39 minutes, which I was happy with. I still have a little niggle on my left knee but not hurting if you know what I mean! Looking forward to my next run on Friday.

Yes it really does make such a difference. I am trying to pace myself better now thinking about getting up to 10k.

Glad you like your new leggings! When I bought my running tights, the description was that it had a zipped pocket at the back. Well. It does, but it’s not big enough to hold my phone. I have to take a running belt and put it in that.
I missed my Tuesday run this week. First time I’ve missed one, but going to try and get out tomorrow! 😀

Bought some new leggings the other day and noticed some with side pocket but was worried my phone might fall out, is it quite secure?

I’m on Week 2 also, but doing the timed version as my graduation distance was 3.3km.
It’s good to just go out and jog along...keeping it slow and steady.
Just noticed you did your 6km in 39 minutes...my long Run Tuesday was 39 minutes...I covered 4km 😂

Oh I need a plan ...I’d spend forever putting things off otherwise 🙄 Luckily I’m not a fast runner, so once I’ve completed the Plan for time...I can probably redo it for distance 😂
