So as of tonight I've reached just over 500 miles on LEJOG4 and I'm at Gretna Green. Todays run and dog walks were in 50-60 mph winds but not cold in the slightest.
Happy Halloween π all

Happy π¦ Halloween to you Buddy34 and "welcome to Scotland" good title to your post, Gretna Green is where my neighbour, the owner of Holly got married π°, congratulations on completing the first 500 miles of LeJogππΎπΆ
Wowee! Amazing total Buddy34 ! Sounds like you had some bracing winds there today too - well done! ππ
Woohoo!
Great effort, glad you got back to Scotland before restrictions tighten in England π€ amazing how these miles add up when counting walks and runs. Happy running π€
Just made it Grannyhugs. On the news tonight England going back into lockdown for 4 weeks.ππ
Just hope all our measures in Scotland have been having a large enough impact. Your areaβs been in tightened restrictions for ages, hope you are coping.
Its the not visiting my mum and dad thats a bit rubbish. Other than that getting out to run i think is really helpingππ
I really canβt see how these restrictions are helping the older generation, hubby has seen his parents only a handful of times since March as they are in a care home. They and many in the home have had COVID. They were allowed 1 visit outside once a week until they moved to level 3 - shocking way to end life. Iβm grateful for the freedom of every walk/run/cycle I can do.
Fantastic, happy Halloween.
Well done. Pop in and see my son on the way through Moffat. I don't know when I'll get to see him again. π
My sister is in Moffat - I grew up nearby! Looking forward to getting that far - but that relies on me updating my mileage (not done since 11th). Funny to think your son and my sister probably know each other!! π―
We come from down in the south west but my son works in forestry management. He actually moved to the other side of the motorway in woodland just outside Beattock. He loves the outdoor life, especially mountain biking. Lovely part of the world. π
Great progress buddy - you're clocking up the miles ππΎπββοΈ
Well done Buddy... storming along ππ¬
Amazingly well done. That is some achievement in a matter of weeks.
Go you. πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Well done you! Iβm a fair bit behind you on LEJOG. Iβve been on IC with a bit of a hip thing but getting there very slowly. See you at the finish line...eventually π₯΄π€£
Fantastic achievement Buddy34 especially in those bracing winds. Keep getting out there for mind body and spirit in these very testing times.
Well done Buddy34, Iβm also doing LEJOG4 but Iβve only got about 285 miles. Iβm trying to run all the way so I know itβll take me a bit longer. Weβre all doing it our own way for our own reasons so I donβt compare myself to everyone elseππ
What a fantastic achievement! ππ You must feel like the finish line is within reach now. Hope you can maintain your walk /runs over the coming weeks. π
Congratulations Buddy!! Huge distance! πππ
Thatβs a long way Buddy, i see your runs on strava and then see your walk later the same day, when we run we barely move the rest of the day, we need a dog but i promised myself not until i retire
Happy Sunday
Great job! The way things are going down here I may get to Scotland and decided to stay!! Weβre trying to sell my parents old home but thatβs not proving easy with 2 of the 3 of us in the south!
π woohoo π! Nice!
Great progress, almost able to give the family a big wave as you pass by.
How fantastic - you have nearly run home!!!!
