I have a Garmin vivoactive 3 (not the music version). It' doesn't work with Spotify directly, but it can control the Spotify app on your phone (and presumably iPod) by Bluetooth. Garmin Connect plays nicely with Strava and most other running apps too.

I use audiofuel bpm running on spotify .. quiet a bit too... my phone recently exploded.. so I'm looking into being out without a phone..

Fair enough. My watch wouldn't ork without my phone, but I never run without my phone as I just wouldn't feel safe in the event of me having an accident.

I have a belt with a zip pouch and water bottle holder (a bit like the one on here amazon.co.uk/dp/B08C7GNZWZ/... ). I don't carry water with me often, but it gives me the option.

I have a garmin cocoa river 4s which has music and works with spotify and amazon music, the deciding factor for me was i dropped my phone mid run and smashed the screen

Hope you get one that suits you

They're pricey.. just looking at them atm..

I'm conscious that my phone exploded recently and I'm a tad concerned that it may have possibly been running causing it all.... no idea

I’ve got the 645M. You don’t need anything special to work with Strava as all garmin sync to it anyway. But if you want to download music to your watch, you’ll need to choose one that does that.

many garmin support downloading music from spotify to your watch. I use deezer instead, but the mechanism is the same, and I'm very happy with how it works. Takes a bit of time the first time youset it up as it has to download the music to the watch via wifi, but then it makes minor updates when you charge it, and it's completely invisible to you

sorry, English is not my first language, I meant that it needs some work from you to set it up, but then it updates in the background and the process doesn't require any interaction with you
