This refrain from the wonderful children’s book ‘The Bear Hunt’ came to mind on my run today!
I don’t like to eat before a run so usually go earlyish morning but today we eventually got out around, lunchtime due to the weather. We still managed to catch a few heavy showers but I don’t mind the rain once I get out. I tried going around this big puddle but quickly realised how wet and muddy the grass was! In fact so muddy I ended up running back through the puddle to clean off my shoes 😄 Maybe I need waterproof socks? Squiggy looking rather wet and muddy and fed up with posing for a photo (‘Let’s get going Mum’!). Enjoyable 10k despite showers, mud, puddles and wet feet. Happy weekend running everyone 😊🏃🏻♀️🐾

🙂I smiled when I read the tile of your post🐻 - it's often one that comes to my mind too when parts of my bridleway get flooded and it's 'run through' or 'turn back'....I always run through! I have had waterproof socks in the past which are great in the very cold weather but I invariably end up with a hole in them. Usually I stick to ordinary socks and a quick draining pair of trail shoes! Well done on your run and 😍 to the lovely Squiggy.🙂
