Hello my quirky questers,I hope you are all well? I know some of you are on the IC and will be feeling disheartened but we know that these things come to try us but we have to take it on the chin and remember that the next run will be sweeter than ever x
For everyone who has been part of my first ever quest, I want to say how lucky I feel to be part of such a lovely bunch of people who just cheer each other on all the time...it’s amazing how we all just ‘get it’ and help each other every step of the way.
It’s been fab seeing you all working on your goals this last 4 weeks...you have battled on through thick and thin...the weather has been unforgiving at some points, I know some work, I don’t know how you do it but you manage to work...and run when you can...that’s amazing in itself and shows true commitment...all because we know how fantastic a good run feels.
I haven’t run since Wednesday when I did just under 9k but life has just got in the way this week with decorators, poorly children and gaps in the weather not being timed right! But, I am running tomorrow come rain or shine, nothing is stopping me! So I just wanted to say well done on what you’ve achieved this month and a great big THANKYOU to you all for being part of my very first quest...and I am passing you over to ju-ju- Have a wonderful December and I will be a quester along side you xxxx

A great quest which has motivated me and kept me running ! Weather has not helped my runs...and I still have not got my long runs in...!
Life...family...appointments...all hold those runs up...
Freezing fog today and already freezing outside again...but like you...I will be out tomorrow... a field run, if I can negotiate the slippery pavements to get there.
My HM training starts Monday...and I start the December Marcathon, that Hidden did last year, tomorrow .
Those long runs are out there, hanging around waiting Floss...you will manage them when life permits. I too have missed my long runs, this programme I’m on is mostly short fast runs but there are longer ones on the horizon so I’m looking forward to them...the weather is to be crispy and cold according to the weatherman so I’m looking forward to that too. Enjoy your field run and I will watch in awe your HM training, maybe it will inspire me to run further, who knows xx
Thank you Mummycav for all your input & keeping us thinking about moving forward. You are proud of us but we salute you for fitting us all in to your busy life. Enjoy your run tomorrow... I am sure it’s going to be an awesome day come what may 🌹🌹🌹🥰
Thank you Annieapple , I’m addicted to this forum and enjoy the company of my virtual buddies so much, I am so pleased that I can now be more involved. I’m looking forward to dry but chilly days, one of my favourite sights is a frosty cobweb, I remember walking to little school with my Mum and being amazed by them, lovely memories, I haven’t seen one yet this year but when I do it will take me right back there...happy running to you my friend xx
Oh Bluebirdrunner , this means so much to me coming from someone who I look up to, you are so kind xx I look forward to my next quest, I’ve loved every minute...I hope your plantar is easing a bit, did you manage to get some of those socks? I wish I lived nearer, I would come and sort you 😘
I'm sure you will though eventually. Wearing certain shoes can aggrevate it too so keep some comfys on! I can't wait to run today, it's going to have to be this aft though...thank you x
You’ve done a fabulous job MC. ❤️ I hope you get to do more. 🤞😀
I’ve run as planned and have managed to do intervals two weeks in a row ...... which reminds me that tomorrow it’s time for the next one. 😳 But I’ll do it. 💪🏃♀️
Thanks for running the Quest, you did a great job!
Can't quite say the same of how my Quest actually went but it was OK. I achieved my swimming goal and my yoga practice goal (as discussed, the online class part of that was largely achieved through yoga nidra rather than Strength and Flexibility but I did *attempt* a final class for the month. My neck seems to be a problem)
Running I didn't manage a run in the final week nor a 5k.
You still did plenty GoogleMe , sometimes life, weather, aches and pains get in the way so you have to do what you can...hopefully your neck will ease with gentle movements. Good luck for Dec if you're joining ju-ju- on her quest x
