Raining on Sunday so went on the treadmill did 5k in 45 mins not good ☹.

You did 5k! Well done 👍. I am always slower on the treadmill as the numbers scare me and I somehow think that I can’t run that fast... with a bit of luck the weather will clear up for you and you can get back outside!

Do not be disheartened. You ran 5KM for a start. Chalk it up as one of “those” runs. We all get them from time to time. I’m truly dreading going back to the gym next Tuesday though. 😖

Why is running 5k in 45 minutes not good jennypenny2 . One week ago you graduated from c25k and today you ran 5k. I think that’s brilliant.

Just remember that it’s best to consolidate your 30 minute runs for a few weeks to allow your body to strengthen before trying to extend. Try different runs and play different music or podcasts and just enjoy running.

I know the treadmill isn’t to everyone’s taste, but I was glad of it when I was doing c25k on it when there was snow and frost, and might be back there again when winter comes.

Keep running and remember what you could do 10 weeks ago. 🏃‍♀️👏🏃‍♀️👏😀
