Weight loss π§: So iv been running nearly... - Bridge to 10K
Weight loss π§
Run more and eat less - works every time!!!
Run more to eat more never works - because we can eat far more calories in 30 minutes then we ever burn when running for 30 minutes!!
Iβm finding the 10k plan is helping loose weight about a 0.5lb to 1lb per week. Not massive but it is consistent.
Youβre not building muscle with running, except maybe your calves π
Eat healthily as a matter of routine and youβll be fine. Youβll feel much better too π
If you avoid bought snacks itβs a good start π
I lost two pounds this week, not that Iβm on a diet cos Iβm not. Now π
I can up the protein and carbs a bit then this week. πͺππποΈββοΈπββοΈππ π₯ππ₯π₯¦
hey I've put on 11kg since November and the docs didn't look to happy last week. now I'm the kinda person who doesn't like to see food wasted and no one else in the house eats much but still cook for 4 so I just empty everything left on to a plate or 2 and finish it all off. oh and a cake or 2 a day
last week we started cooking for 2 and cut the cakes out. I've lost 5kg already lol.
I find as my distance increases, so does my appetite. I took a 3 week running hiatus last month and my appetite dropped back down to normal (and my waist seemed thinner). I also have been bad at making naughty food choices but as the weather improves and the days get longer, I'm hoping making healthier food choices will be easier.
I'm afraid I am rather naughty with food and haven't lost anything at all. I check in worth my bathroom scales every day to make sure I don't get too naughty, ams if I gain a pound or two I know it's time to be good for a few days. I sympathise...totally!
On a day when I do a long run, I could eat a horse when I've finished. I'm sure it is psychological as I haven't burnt the calories in one Big Mac, let alone a whole horse! It takes huge will power to just drink water instead.
Come the spring/summer I hope my cravings for comfort food will ease off, together with the few pounds I seem to have put on over the winter...
