Does anyone enjoy running in hot weather? I used to prefer cool weather but kind of enjoy running in hot weather now. Humidity is not great for speed though😅

I find it draining and prefer to run in the evening if possible. I am enjoying running though and feeling warm on the warm up and cool down. Beats freezing your wotsit off 😊

I quite like a bit of wotsit freezing! If I'm cold on my warm up walk I know I've got my clothing just right!

No, I don't like it at all. Well, to be honest I don't mind the heat so much as the full sun. I guess it depends on how hot it is where you are, and the humidity too. Where I am it's suddenly changed, much, much cooler, and I'm so looking forward to doing some longer runs.

I don't like the hot weather either ! :-(

I find it just sucks the life out of me and makes me feel meh . I ran in 22 degrees the other night and I had a stinker . My face was stinging with sweat , and I just felt really uncomfortable .

I like cold weather , as long as its not icy.

I sound a right grumpy mare , Im not really, well not much anyway :-D xxx

The eye-stinging with sweat is terrible int it! It really stings. Oh well, all this will be just a memory in a few weeks time when we get snow. LOL

Get some grips for your running shoes Pops and you can get out no matter what. You just go really steady. It'll make you feel all intrepid!

Will they make me feel like Scott of the Antartic though ?

If not, I wont bother :-D

Ive been wearing my peaked cap to try and keep the sweat off my face, but its not really working. The sweat was dripping off my peak the other day, plus I feel like my head is going to spontaneously combust as it gets so hot.

Moan, Moan , Grumble, Pah ! :-) xxx

I carry a wet flannel, and wipe my face and neck with it. It really really helps xx

But don't you just love the feeling of sweat trickling down past the buds of your earphones into your ear?

No? Just me then. :)
