is it safe to take tamoxifen during the course of radiation and is there any difference in the overall outcome of 3drt vs imrt.

One trial has shown slightly increased Pulmonary fibrosis when Tamoxifen was added concurrently with Radiation

When clinicians plan Radiotherapy ..and contemplate increased lung doses...they avoid Tamoxifen.

At times, when Lung doses is not so significant, then Tamoxifen may be used Concurrently with Radiation.
